This month, we proudly recognize Jason Bowen as our Veteran of the Month—a remarkable individual whose 16-year career in the U.S. Army exemplifies courage, resilience, and lifelong commitment to excellence.
Jason began his military journey as an Infantry Squad Leader during Operation Desert Storm, setting the tone for a career marked by leadership in some of the world’s most challenging environments. He deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan, and South Korea, earning two Bronze Stars for his exceptional service.
At just 25 years old, Jason was accepted into flight school, where he graduated on the prestigious Commandant’s List. He went on to pilot both Hueys and Blackhawks, eventually retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer 3.
Not one to rest on past achievements, Jason pursued higher education after his military service, earning a bachelor’s degree in Professional Aeronautics and an MBA from Purdue University.
His journey from the battlefield to the cockpit to the classroom is a powerful testament to dedication, adaptability, and lifelong learning.
