Race For Rare Kids on Lake Michigan is an inclusive 5k and 1k race for participants to run, walk, or roll by stroller or wheelchair. For virtual participation, the race is being expanded to include any race distance and any activity type (think: walking, running, cycling, swimming, etc.)

Race For Rare Kids (RFRK) is dedicated to the education, advocacy, and support of families proud to call someone they love “rare”. We are calling these special people our “VIPs” for the event. Our event hopes to raise awareness for any child (or adult) taking on a unique journey with a different ability, disability, or developmental difference and to raise funding for the non-profit rare disease foundation The TBCK Foundation, which benefits children born with the neuro-genetic disease TBCK Syndrome.
