Firefighters from five departments responded to a fire that engulfed a Columbia Township mobile home early Sunday.
South Haven Area Emergency Services says the departments were dispatched to 18th Avenue near 53rd Street west of Breedsville in Van Buren County around 3:10 a.m.
Responding was the Columbia Township Fire Department with mutual aid provided by the Bangor Community, Bloomingdale, Lee Township and South Haven Emergency Services.
The lone occupant of the home escaped without injury.
The fire appeared to have started on the front porch and spread throughout the structure.
One firefighter suffered a cut to a hand and was treated on-scene by LIFE ambulance personnel. He continued his firefighting tasks.
