You may be heading to your holiday office party soon. There are some “Dos” and “Don’ts” according to workplace expert Dr. Ivan Misner.
“Whatever you do, don’t go negative,” Misner said. “That sounds obvious, but you’d surprised by how often people go negative at the office party, particularly talking about their job or their boss or the people that they work with. Bad idea.”
Misner also says don’t drink too much because you want to be your best self at the party, and not be the talk of the party the next day.
He says if you’re talking to people, ask questions if you don’t know about the topic.
