Governor Whitmer is starting a tour to hold roundtable discussions on her proposal to repeal Michigan’s retirement tax. She met with retirees in Bay City yesterday afternoon to talk about how they would be impacted. The tax repeal was among her top five proposals in this year’s State of the State address. Whitmer says the repeal would save 500,000 households around $1,000 a year.
