Michigan Democratic Congressman Shri Thanedar has officially filed articles of Impeachment against President Donald Trump.
The Representative from Detroit listed seven articles of impeachment, outlining what he says is a range of constitutional violations. Thanedar says about 15 of his colleagues have shown support so far.
“The support is starting to build up and I want to not only get the support of the Democrats, but I would like to break away some Republicans because I’m going to need those Republicans to pass this impeachment resolution in the United States House,” Thanedar said.
Considering the House has a Republican majority, Thanedar would need a lot more support before this resolution would be considered.
