A K9 with the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Department has been outfitted with a brand new ballistic vest, thanks to Brady’s K9 Fund.
The sheriff’s department says Brady’s K9 Fund was started in 2018 by an 8-year-old boy who felt all K9 officers deserve body armor, just like their human partners.
Thanks to the fund’s support, K9 Jet is now sporting a vest. It’s custom fitted for Jet and is made out of ballistic material designed to keep the K9 cool.
