The Southwest Michigan Record Show is a big hit. The event was Sunday at Lake Michigan College in Benton Harbor and vendors from Michigan, Indiana, and Illinois filled 65 tables with items at the Mendel Center. Organizer Jeremy Bonfiglio tells our partners at WSBT-22 vinyl has had a huge comeback over the past six years and customers were at the show from 12-years-old into their 80s. Vinyl has overtaken CDs for music sales for the first time since 1987, and vinyl record sale revenues were up 17% in 2022 compared to 2021. The next Southwest Michigan Record Show is being planned for mid-September.
