Former U.S. Representative Fred Upton is working to find an alternative to another Biden/Trump matchup in the 2024 presidential election.
Whether the issue is crime, immigration, energy, climate change, or the debt ceiling, former congressman Fred Upton says people are fed up with the inability for America’s top leaders to work across party lines and find solutions.
That’s why he’s part of the national No Labels movement that’s now working to field a third-party presidential candidate, in the event that the country is again faced with the ballot choice of Biden vs Trump.
Upton says No Labels has about $100 million so far and they’re meeting in New York this month to measure their progress toward getting on the ballot in all 50 states and organizing a national convention in Dallas next year to pick a candidate.
Upton admits the time is short but that 75% of voters don’t want a rematch of Biden Trump in the next election.
