A 49-year-old St. Joseph resident is in serious condition at Spectrum Health Lakeland after being hit by a Ford F-150 while crossing Broad Street just before 8 a.m. Friday. The pickup was driven by a 19-year-old from Indiana, and he was turning from Main Street to Broad Street going west when he hit the pedestrian. The driver was not hurt and stayed at the scene. The crash is still being investigated.
