
Michigan is reporting 2,091 new cases of COVID-19 for Thursday. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services says the state has had more than 603,000 COVID cases since the pandemic started. 23 deaths were reported for Thursday, 16 of which were identified through a review of vital records. The state’s death total is now 15,729. The state’s coronavirus dashboard shows Berrien County with 25 new cases on Thursday for a total of 10,928. The county has had 226 deaths. the same as the day before. Van Buren County has 17 new cases for a total of 4,813. Deaths in Van Buren County remain at 86. The state’s vaccine dashboard shows 2.83 million doses have been administered in Michigan as of Wednesday. In Berrien County, there have been more than 45,800 shots given. In Van Buren County, there have been 19,900 doses administered.
