The city of Dowagiac and the Greater Dowagiac Chamber of Commerce have teamed up to create the new Dowagiac Walking Challenge this summer.

The two are inviting everyone to take to the great outdoors for a total of nine scenic walks between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

Those who take part are told to post about their latest walks on Facebook and Instagram with the hashtag “DowagiacChallenge” and a photo of the walker at the location. Those who complete all nine Walking Challenge routes will receive a Dowagiac Walking Challenge patch to show off to their friends.
