The Area Agency on Aging Region IV will hold a presentation on dementia in March. It says Fortune Cookies will be a virtual event aimed at engaging people affected by a dementia diagnosis, family members, caregivers, local businesses, and the broader community. It’s intended to spark conversations around the subject of dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease. Everyone is welcome to attend the event on March 15 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. It will be delivered via Zoom with a limited number of in-person tickets also available. The Area Agency on Aging says it’s bringing The Remember Project to the community, using the arts to dispel the stigma of dementia by performing short plays. Audience members will come together via Zoom, watch a play together, and then engage in a conversation. Anyone who wants to register for Fortune Cookies can do to at CampusForCreativeAging.org.
